What Is Bioheat® Plus Fuel?

Bioheat® Plus fuel is an eco-friendly fuel that burns in oil heating equipment. It blends traditional home heating oil with biodiesel, which is a by-product of renewable resources such as soybean oil and recycled cooking oil. Bioheat® Plus fuel is used in place of standard #2 heating oil for both residential and commercial customers and is beneficial to both consumers and the environment. Bioheat® Plus fuel denotes that the biodiesel percentage is at least 20%, like the premium fuel that our team at Densmore delivers.

Delivering Eco-Friendly B20 Ultra-Low Sulfur Heating Oil (ULSHO)

Densmore Oil provides ultra-low sulfur heating oil (ULSHO) to our customers. ULSHO has a maximum 15 parts per million (ppm) sulfur content, which significantly reduces emissions and buildup in heating systems. The best part? When ULS heating oil is blended with a minimum 2% biodiesel, it creates Bioheat® Plus fuel. But at Densmore, we don’t use the bare minimum; instead, we use 20% biodiesel to create B20 fuel that is cleaner and greener than ever! Now, Densmore Oil’s Bioheat® Plus fuel delivery is even more environmentally friendly and beneficial to oil heat customers. Our fuel brings plenty of benefits to the table:
